Announcement
During this challenging period that my country is going through, taking and fulfilling orders brings a sense of relief to me. My studio is up and running, and courier services are still operational. I received numerous supportive emails from all of you, and I am deeply grateful for your love and prayers. I hold onto the hope for brighter days ahead. Your kindness is truly appreciated.
Mad About Pottery is all about that rustic handmade feel, where homespun craftsmanship meets a contemporary ceramic aesthetic and falls madly in love.
Every piece in the shop is designed, thrown, glazed and fired by me in a small studio at my home. From there, they will make their merry way to your home, where I hope they bring you and your family usefulness and beauty.
All of the pottery items are individual creations. Each item is unique; no two will ever be exactly alike, so please allow for artistic variances, even when ordering "sets".
All my glazes are lead-free, food and dishwasher safe and primarily, functional. From tableware, bowls, cups, mugs, jars, plates, mixing bowls, to breakfast bowls - I invite you to make the most of your new handmade wares, use them often and love them thoroughly.

I am extremely happy with my purchase, they are very well made and well worth the price. Plus, Gigi is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this shop.

Frequently asked questions
Are your products human, dishwasher & microwave safe?
All of my products are made with a lead-free non-toxic glaze and are perfectly happy to be eaten off of, drunk out of and enjoyed thoroughly. Everything is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.
Please don't microwave an empty ceramic vessel. If there is no food or liquid in the bowl to absorb the microwave energy, the ceramic material itself can become excessively heated and potentially crack or shatter.
How close will the item I receive be to the photo shown in the listing?
Every item in my shop is handmade, so sometimes there are slight variations in color and size. Isn’t that the charm of old-school craftsmanship though?
Also, keep in mind that every computer monitor/phone screen displays colors a little differently.
Custom and personalized orders
I’d love to hear all about your custom order requests and I’m sure I will be able to craft something we will both enjoy. Drop me a convo and we can get started.

If your order came broken or damaged in any way - please let me know and send me a picture right away - so I can work on resolving the issue.
That being said, I don’t accept returns or exchanges for sale items or personalized orders.

Can I contact you with questions about items in your shop?
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, thoughts or compliments. I love to hear from potential customers and fellow pottery lovers around the world.
When will my order ship?
Since my shop is a one-woman show, every piece is made to order - meaning, I start working on your piece(s) only after your order has been placed. This allows me to maintain the high craftsmanship in my pottery, and to create pieces that are 100% uniquely made for you.
It generally takes me 3-4 weeks to make most pieces.
Dinnerware and larger orders may take up to 8-10 weeks to make.
Delays may occur that are beyond my control, but I will be sure to keep you posted should there be any unexpected changes.
*Please note these times refer to production time, and NOT to shipping time.
To track your order go to this website: https://www.17track.net/en
and enter the tracking number I provided you.
Customs Vat and Import Taxes
I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
Etsy collects VAT for US customers on checkout.
In Europe, customers might be liable for VAT payment, customs, and import taxes, depending on the cost of your total order.
