Fun art and illustrations woot woot!
For as long as I can remember, starting with home craft projects and after-school art lessons at Mrs. Carter's house around the block, I've always had some sort of creative project going on in whatever spare time I could find. On into adulthood, despite having been guided toward a corporate career by the adults in charge when the college applications were due, my creative spirit was not to be ignored!
I doodled and doodled, then doodled some more, making cards, gifts, and special notes for friends and family. Soon, my product line of notecards, prints and calendars was born. I pedaled my products around to some local stores, and I soon had enough people asking about my art that I opened my Etsy shop so that anyone anywhere could buy my stuff!
I make my art in a spare-room studio in the middle of the woods, where I live with my still-growing-and already-too-tall teenage son and a snuggly cockapoo named Trolley. My passions are hand-lettering, typography, wise and witty quotes, uplifting messages, and all things eco-friendly. I've always been a "tree-hugger" and believe in doing my part, whatever tiny bit that might be, so all of my paper products are made with recycled materials, right down the the eco-friendly packaging and the tree-free shipping labels.
When I'm not making art, you can find me pinning obsessively on Pinterest, studiously avoiding housework, organizing something (anything), or reading a good book by the woodstove.
