The story of Magic Pebbles
Hello... I'm Anita.... ...this is the story of how Magic Pebbles began!
It all began in 2020, when the world was locked down.
Throughout the lockdown, I continued to work caring for children and young adults with disabilities. Whilst we were out and about, we discovered a beautiful, colourful long trail of stones, painted by the local community.
Painting stones - what a fun activity! I organised a day for the young people that I was working with to come together, paint stones and add them to the stones that we had found n the community.
We all had so much fun... and I discovered that I absolutely love painting stones! The following Christmas, I made little gift boxes and painted my friends and family's pets onto stones... unusual gifts that were well appreciated... a few of the recipients actually cried!
Something magical had started... I started painting rune sets for myself and friends, necklaces, brooches.... friends began to commission me for unique gifts that they could gift themselves.... and Magic Pebbles was born!
