Announcement    Taking care of yourself and your jewelry:
“Hand sanitizer should not be used on any organic gems, like coral or pearls,” “The alcohol in the sanitizer can dry out the gems and lead to surface damage or cracking. Hand sanitizer is also not safe on porous stones like opals or turquoise. When in doubt, it is always better to take your jewelry off before washing your hands.”

Be careful about moisturizing, too.
Moisturizing plays a crucial part in keeping hands germ-free. Hands that are cracked or dry lose their safety barrier, which could make the hand unable to absorb the antibacterial benefits of sanitizer and soap. But lotion can be problematic for items like engagement rings and other stones.

“Rings set with gems can collect lotion or debris behind the stones,” “It is important to keep this area clean for many reasons. That buildup can be a prime place for bacteria or irritants to collect, which can lead to skin irritations. Also, decreased airflow behind the stone can trap moisture against the finger, which is also a common cause of irritation. And buildup of debris in a jewel can lead to unnecessary wear, and even loosening of prongs, which can result in lost stones.”

When in doubt, head to the sink.
“The best, safest way to keep your jewelry clean and looking its best is to wash it using a mild dish soap,” “If you notice any change in your jewelry from hand sanitizer, wash the piece immediately with warm, mild dish-soapy water. This will remove any residual chemicals left from the sanitizer. Bring the piece to an experienced jeweler as soon as you can to asses the damage and discuss repairs.”

ATTENTION: I can only ship priority mail during the week. Our post office is closed on the weekend.
Magical and unique, vintage and handmade, one of a kind jewelry for all ages. I love to use vintage pieces in my creations when they are available, and I also search for beautiful vintage items to sell. I only buy the best vintage pieces, so be assured when you purchase something it is of the highest quality. I also describe any flaws the piece might have and take pictures so you can see what you are buying.

I also want you to know that I recycle almost everything I can. That included the envelopes your treasures will be shipped in. My grandma used to says, "it's what's inside that counts". So if your package looks a little used, it's because it is. I also buy new shipping packages, so you may get one of those. It all depends on the size of the item. I am doing my part to leave a small carbon footprint. Recycle the packaging again if you can. It's the little things that count, as well as the big things.

I meditate and concentrate on the healing properties of the gemstones as I create each special piece of jewelry that I make myself. According to the laws of physics, and metaphysics, thought directs energy, and energy follows thought. These pieces come to you full of good positive energy, and they may assist you as you create your dreams.

If you see something you like, feel free to make an offer on a piece. I am open to reasonable bargaining.
