We are all made of energy. Everything in our Universe and every other Universe, is energy. Atoms, protons, neutrons, all mixed up in a galactic soup. We are a part of all of it! What looks solid, if viewed under a microscope, is really mostly air. So we can take that "energy" and use it in a positive way. We can create our lives by what we do and how we act and re-act. We are so much more powerful than we give ourselves credit for.

I love making unique pieces, and meditating on the properties of the stones, and also infusing them with positive energy as I create a piece.
I started making jewelry a few years ago. I was a personal fitness trainer for many years as well as a life coach. I needed to have complicated neck surgery and I wanted to be able to be active using my creative side, even if I couldn't be physically active. I had a lot of jewelry I wasn't wearing and didn't know anyone to re-design the stones for me. I loved the materials, but not the designs.

So I started with some classes, and the rest, as they say is history. I started with my own jewelry and liked the creation part of the work. People would comment on my jewelry when I wore it and suggested I start selling. I decided I would give it a try. I only use the best materials and I never use silver that has lead or alloy in it. I try to find the best semi-precious gems and stones, although I do use wooden beads as well as other materials. (Wood is so light, it makes a great casual summer beaded bracelet or necklace.) If a piece seems expensive it's because of the price of silver or the stones used in it. I try to keep my prices within reach of everyone, but it's not always possible. The store site and shipping are also cost factors I have to take into consideration when pricing a piece.

Every piece of jewelry I make is filled with positive energy. There are many sites on the internet that explain the properties of various stones and gems. I meditate on these properties as well as add my own healing blessings to each piece. I hope you will feel it when you wear something I've made.

Well, I have gotten a bit philosophical here, but I want you to know that whatever I make, I make with love, and it is my hope and wish, that this loving energy will be felt by you. Healing, Love, Trust, Faith, Honesty, Abundance, Prosperity, Kindness, Caring, and Peace are all values I treasure and send into my jewelry, and I hope it is transmitted to you when you wear it.

I have mentioned elsewhere in my site that coral is an endangered species. The world’s coral reef ecosystems are in crisis. Nearly 30% of coral reefs have already been lost, and more are at risk. Corals face widespread threats ranging from habitat destruction, pollution, overharvest, and disease—and now climate change. Warm ing ocean temperatures and ocean acidification due to green- house gas pollution threaten the continued survival of coral reefs. In recent years, the frequency of mass bleaching events and disease outbreaks have increased, and some areas are experiencing sluggish coral growth due to acidification. Some coral scientists warn that unless CO2 pollution is rapidly reduced, coral reefs and reef-dependant marine life will be committed to a terminal and irreversible decline. If corals are to survive, they need relief from each of these threats, and the strong protections of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) can be a safety net for the conservation of coral reefs. Years ago I bought a lot of beautiful coral. Reds, oranges, and many shades of pink. When I have used up these supplies I will not be buying anymore coral. I am an environmentalist, and a portion of the proceeds from my sales go to protect the environment, as well as supporting programs for women and children around the world.

As you can see, in my store, I make a variety of items. I won't be making the seed bead stretch bracelets anymore, as they are a lot of work and I prefer making other types of items. I like to try different things, and come up with new ideas. I also make jewelry using vintage pieces I have found. I love adding other vintage pieces to the store, as well, for variety, and because I want these lovely pieces to find a good home.
