Mahjong Cheers! started the way so many good things do, around a table, with tiles, snacks, and cocktails. We’re two Texas moms who absolutely fell in love with Mahjong. What began as a casual girls’ night quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. We loved everything about it!! We love the strategy, the tradition, the friendly competition, and of course…the cheers when someone calls “Mahjong!”
When we went looking for a mat that felt just right, we kept coming up short. The ones we found were either too plain, too busy, poor quality, or simply way out of budget. We wanted something beautiful, functional, and affordable. We wanted something that made game night feel special without breaking the bank.
So we did what moms do best.
We figured it out ourselves.
What started as a simple idea turned into late-night design sessions after kids went to bed, coffee-fueled brainstorming, samples spread across kitchen counters, and lots of testing at our own Mahjong table. We obsessed over colors, textures, layout, and durability because we knew if we loved it, other Mahjong-loving friends would too.
Mahjong Cheers! was born from friendship, creativity, and a shared belief that you shouldn’t have to choose between quality and price. Every mat we design is made with real players in mind!
