With over 1000 pillows made and delivered since 2021, "Hearts of Love" has already touched so many lives across the US.
When event planner Karen Gould, owner of Main Stream Events and PR Firm, found herself without any events in 2020, she began making small heart-shaped pillows to give to her family and friends as gifts.
"I made a Valentines Day set as party favors for a friend's birthday and everybody loved receiving them," she shared. "I wanted to spread joy and happiness to others; to let them know someone was thinking of them."
So from there, Main Stream Treasures was born.
Karen was inspired to continue and began making pillows for every holiday, receiving at least seven orders with each theme change from one of her customers. "I loved being able to 'reach out and touch someone'."
Karen sent pillows when people perhaps needed them most: when most everyone in the US was under quarantine and you literally could not reach out and touch someone.
Main Stream Treasures is now donating one pillow to cancer patients, fallen solder's family members, and battered women with every set sold. Each quarter she changes it up to different people in need. "My mom gave a set to a friend who is fighting cancer and I knew where Hearts of Love had to go from there."
