Art comes in many forms, all these are very therapetic
I’ve loved crafting for as long as I can remember. As a child, my mother would often surprise me with new crafting kits, and we’d sit together enjoying them. Sand art was one of my favorites, along with fancy-cutting scissors and marker stampers. I had countless packs of construction paper and sticker books. Whether it was holiday crafts or everyday creations, we truly cherished those moments together. The variety of kits she brought home felt endless. I have to admit, I often started projects I couldn't finish—luckily, my mom was always there to complete them with me.
As I got older, my aunt introduced me to new crafts like cutting fabric squares for quilts and making Christmas wreaths. But with time, life got busier, and I drifted away from those hobbies I once loved.
A few years ago, I found my way back to crafting. I revisited the activities I enjoyed as a little girl and even picked up new ones. I began gifting handmade items to friends and family for birthdays, holidays, or simply to bring joy. Eventually, my creations began to pile up, so I started selling them. That decision led me here—giving Etsy a try and sharing my work beyond Newfoundland.
In 2024, my biggest supporter—my mother—passed away suddenly at the age of 57. Her loss was devastating, but it made my work even more meaningful. We shared many of my early designs together; she helped create nearly all of my jewelry and stood by me at my first craft fair. Now, everything I make is crafted with extra care, in her memory. While I work at a slower pace these days, each piece is made with love. Thank you for your patience and kindness. New items are added monthly.
