would I recommend this to others? No - for first timers at crochet, Yes-for experienced ones. To be honest, I tried using 3 yarns.... I had to start all over each time to see where I could have missed the steps, twice using the written instruction and on the 3rd attempt using the chart and markers which is a lot easier BUT I still got it wrong.....hahahaha, now the panels looked lop sided. Not giving up yet, will probably try again with a different yarn with more patients and faith.....

Up to this point, all I've crocheted is a few stuffed animals, so I wouldn't say I'm very experienced by any means, but I'm having a great time with this scarf pattern. I have about half of the first part done. The stitches were different for me at first, but the video links are really helpful. Thank you for a beautiful pattern!

If you’re looking for a challenge, this pattern is for you. The stitches are simple but the technique is unique. I was initially frustrated trying to figure it out but I made sure to read through the pattern, watch the video, and practice the swatch. The pattern is written really well and the charts are helpful to refer to as you go. Be patient and take your time. This is a pattern that needs focus to pick up but once you get it, it’s a lot of fun! I added on a boarder at the end because I didn’t chain tight enough so the edge looked uneven. I love how it turned out! I’ve already gotten so many compliments on how unique it looks.
