Maker & Merchant is a Brisbane, Australia based designer homewares studio established by three sisters with a shared love of design and fabrics, and a passion to make beautiful limited edition accessories and homewares for you, your home and your pets.
We’ve always enjoyed creating interesting spaces and vignettes to communicate style and mood around the spaces we live. Imelda, Cecelia and Sonia combine a love of art, design, craft, fashion and very different styles which together determine the underlying aesthetic ethos of Maker & Merchant. This ethos is realised through the designer homewares and pieces created in our Brisbane studio and carefully selected for the Maker & Merchant shop.
Our designer homewares collection mainly features hand drawn or screen printed designs on natural fabrics, beautiful leather, and luxurious fibres on a range of designer cushions, designer tea towels, modern quilts, and fashion accessories including leather wallets and clutches. Our range of luxury designer cushions are handmade, hand screen printed and hand drawn creating unique pieces for your home.
