Il mio negozio di stampa Etsy (e ora oggetti di scena) è qualcosa che ho sognato ad occhi aperti per diversi anni prima di metterlo in azione. Con un background in Fotografia e Pubbliche Relazioni ho avuto la straordinaria opportunità di lavorare per alcune grandi organizzazioni umanitarie internazionali. Mi è piaciuto molto poter usare la mia passione per la fotografia per le organizzazioni e il lavoro a cui tengo profondamente. Mentre vivevo a Calcutta, in India, mi sono avvicinato a una famiglia di dodici persone che ha fatto la loro casa per strada, e io e la mia fotografia saranno cambiati per sempre a causa loro. Durante i miei 2 anni e mezzo di vita in India ho trovato un amore per la vivacità, il colore e i dettagli del paese e della loro cultura. Al mio ritorno negli Stati Uniti, mi sono trasferito a St. Louis dove ho lavorato come assistente amministrativo e ho continuato a dilettarmi nella fotografia. Negli ultimi anni, e con l'incoraggiamento e il sostegno del mio dapper, marito barbuto {e amici e familiari}, si è sviluppato in un business più sostanziale. Ho iniziato a mostrare il mio lavoro dal mio tempo vivendo e viaggiando all'estero nelle caffetterie locali, e alla fine ho iniziato a vendere le mie stampe in piccole mostre d'arte domestica e ad amici e familiari su richiesta. Sono felice di poterli ora mettere a vostra disposizione qui! Il nome del mio negozio è stato ispirato da due donne; Patty Griffin e la sua canzone "Making Pies", e poi ovviamente mia madre, e le sue incredibili torte "fatte da zero". Adoro fotografarli e in realtà lavoro un paio di giorni alla settimana in un piccolo negozio di torte {Pie Oh My!} qui a St. Louis.

L'ultima aggiunta al mio negozio è la sezione "Oggetti di scena fotografici vintage". Negli ultimi due anni il mio stile personale a casa ha sicuramente assunto un aspetto più vintage, e questo ha iniziato a insinuarsi nel mio lavoro. Adoro che gli oggetti di seconda mano trovino nuova vita e allo stesso tempo aggiungano fascino e nostalgia alla mia casa e al mio lavoro. E sono felice di potervi passare alcuni di quei tesori.

My Etsy print (and now props) shop is something I daydreamed about for several years before putting it into action. With a background in Photography and Public Relations I have had the amazing opportunity to work for some great international humanitarian organizations. I loved that I was able to use my passion for photography for organizations and work that I care deeply about. While living in Kolkata, India I became close to a family of twelve who made their home on the street, and i {and my photography} will forever be changed because of them. During my 2 1/2 years living in India I found a love for the vibrancy, the color, and the details of the country and their culture. Upon my return to the States, I moved to St. Louis where I worked as an administrative assistant and continued to dabble in photography on the side. Over the past few years, and with the encouragement and support of my dapper, bearded husband {and friends and family}, it has developed into a more substantial business. I began showing my work from my time living and traveling abroad in local coffee shops, and eventually began selling my prints at small home art shows and to friends and family upon request. I'm happy that I am now able to make them available to you here! The name of my shop was inspired by two women; Patty Griffin and her song "Making Pies", and then of course my mom, and her amazing "made from scratch" pies. I love to photograph them and actually work a couple of days a week in a small pie shop {Pie Oh My!} here in St. Louis.

The newest addition to my shop is the "Vintage photo props" section. Over the last couple of years my own personal style at home has definitely taken on a more vintage feel, and that has begun to creep into my work. I love that second hand items are finding new life while at the same time adding charm and nostalgia to my home and my work. And I'm happy to be able to pass some of those treasures along to you.
