Who We Are
Thank you for reading. This shop was started when I had my twins (Em and M) in 2015. My mom got right to work creating and sewing adorable outfits for the twins to wear. They were a big hit at home and school! A few years down the road, my daughter now has enough hair to wear accessories, and so....M and Em Creations was born. (And while my daughter is not a huge fan of wearing bows, she'll gladly trade a photo session for a yummy treat).
By day, I'm a certified Early Education teacher, and while I love what I do, I also happen to know the latest fashion trends for the 4 and under crowd. I decided to come up with adorable accessories to match the outfits my own children were wearing to school. And, at 4 years old now, many of their friends also receive bows for birthday presents!
I have a lot of fun creating "on-the-fly" designs for movie releases, etc. We recently attended the Frozen 2 premier, and Em insisted on wearing her blue Elsa dress. In a short amount of time I was able to whip up a glittery blue bow complete with a snowflake embellishment that matched her dress. She loved showing it off. This is where customization comes in handy. I love hearing new ideas and inspirations.
When I'm not sewing, I'm crocheting or knitting, my first two loves. I'm also a black belt (my whole family is!) in Kenpo, and a YTT-200 hour certified yoga instructor. I like a little bit of everything it seems!
