With each item meticulously hand-fabricated by me of fine and sterling silver, bronze, copper, dichroic glass and flameworked beads, jewelry design is my passion. My work is inspired by nature with a special affinity for the sea including seashells, snail shells, leaves, twigs, pods and other natural wonders. And every item in my shop is ready to ship!

Beautiful recycled gift box included with every jewelry purchase. Please note, too, that I reuse/recycle packing materials whenever possible including boxes, paper, packing peanuts and bubble wrap. Importantly, all the fine silver I use in my jewelry is itself recycled product.

Handcrafted art jewelry and dichroic glass by the sea

Muted -- a mixed media pendant made of copper, concrete, glass, raku beads and paper. An exciting new direction for me!
Ready for the kiln. I *told* you I love mermaids and the sea! :D
Sterling silver earwires on my workbench. I make these in small batches so the monotony doesn't drive me insane ...
Summer shows afford me the opportunity to meet and greet the public.

It all began in a very small way ...

A chance visit to a dollhouse shop in the English Cotswolds many years ago turned out to be a collision with destiny for me. I was instantly and completely besotted with the tiny world I saw. I began creating 1/12th scale potted plants and flowers with increasingly precise detail and became known for the miniscule buds and teensy branches I delighted in adding to my pieces.

Decades later, I discovered the joy of creating my own jewelry and, to my enormous delight, a much larger -- though no less detailed -- world opened up for me. The most enjoyable part of making jewelry for me is including the same level of minute detail -- everything from combining intricate textures to molding the tiniest of seashells -- that I gave to my work in scale miniatures. Echoes of my intense love for botanicals, miracles from the sea and lots and lots of texture still exist in my work even though the medium has changed.
