4 out of 5 starsThis item is beautiful, my only note is the red resin coloring goes over some of the metal detailing, but other than that the mechanism works perfectly and it is smell proof. It was perfect as a gift!

4 out of 5 starsThe teapot looks great, but it's a little more plasticky than I expected, and while I would be fine with that, it does make holding it a bit of a struggle sometimes. We have found when passing a fresh pot around in this, we need to set it down entirely to pass it or someone will get burned. There just isn't any safe place to touch this other than the handle, which isn't optimal.
