So my Best Friend had a setting which he had intended for a woman who in the end didn't work out. Several years later he offered it to me as a token of our long friendship. In honor of my friend I was in search of a topaz as it is his birthstone. They are plenty and available -but I found this one here, what a beautiful, unique cut!! Seller was very responsive about my inquiries as to size/measurements. Was definitely pricier than others but I take into consideration the time and craftsmanship and felt is had that value. So now it is mounted in my Best Friend's ring and I will wear it with pride.

Chris has done a handful of custom gems for me now, and I have not had a single complaint. He is very honest, fair, and takes a LOT of pride in his work! Every gem he has cut for me has been perfect. I cannot see a single flaw in the cut/polish even with a loupe. He is a master at his craft, hands down. I will not work with anyone else on custom gems projects. Simply because I know 100% that I will be getting the best gem possible from him every time.

This is my second order from Chris, and we are already working on a third. This was a custom order of 3 gems that are the exact same cut and size, but different material. Each gem is an absolute masterwork! Every facet on all 3 gems is perfect and meet up exactly where they're supposed to. The girdle is perfect all the way around. Everything is symmetrical. The size of the gems are all the exact same! He is great to work with as well. He did all the research and sourcing, then I got to pick the piece of rough in which each gem was cut from! Very responsive and answered every question I had along the way. Shipping was super fast and gems were packaged very well. I couldn't be happier with the order!
