A social worker trying to find balance in her world.

I have been a social worker for the past 17 years advocating for the educational needs of deaf and hard of hearing children. I love my job but in the past year I found myself craving a way to get reacquainted with my creative side. I’m a knitter, crocheted and spinner but still found myself searching for something more. I’ve always loved beading and love that through stitch markers I can combine all my interests.

My store will focus on hand stamped metal and glass beads to start. My goal is to make everything snag free and practical yet beautiful.

Through my Instagram account (@maple_roots_creative) I will be reaching out to all of you to see what my next steps should be. I have a lot of fun ideas percolating. With your input I can make sure to create beautiful markers that fit your needs. Feel free to DM me with what you’d like to see!!!
