My nana always cross-stitched. Sadly, I didn't learn while she was alive. After inheriting a basket full of her stitching supplies, I thought it only right that I give it a try. My first project was Minor Threat's "Out of Step" sheep. The process was deliberate and meditative. The end product was awesome. I've been designing and stitching ever since.

My love of relief printmaking was born from Brazilian Literatura de Cordel and medieval prints. I love the versatility of relief printing. I love that it's been done in essentially the same way for centuries. I love that the most rudimentary instruments can produce art.
