Easy pattern good to follow instructions

Had problem getting actual pattern all that downloaded was sewing instructions. Emailed seller and was able to have her email to me.

Really unique pattern. Extensive directions. Tried to substitute a few things for the ribbon or twill, which didn't work out- but that's on me! Bag still came out really interesting.

Overall, I really like the finished product. However the instructions were confusing - not necessarily due to lack of explanation, but more due to missing details - such as: which zipper length to use for that given step, which pieces are needed for that step, orientation of pieces, final expected length/sizes of constructed pieces. I also think the exposed zipper edges and backing could have been avoided with a few extra steps, allowing for a more professional finish. Some of the metric measurements didn't really translate well into imperial. I would definitely make this again, but change some steps to include a slip pocket, an inside zipper pocket, and then fix the few items mentioned above. There's always room to grow!!

Easy to sew. A little too big for me, but I cut down the width and I love it.

Nice template. Exactly what I needed.
