Since 1981, MareOptima has specialized in marine natural history specimens. Our range includes seashells, sea urchins, starfish, sea fans, corals, sponges, and other fascinating treasures from the world's oceans.
What began as a wholesale business supplying shell dealers has grown into a carefully curated collection for collectors, hobbyists, educators, and nature enthusiasts.
Many of the specimens in my shop come from collections assembled over several decades. Some are no longer commonly available and many are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Whenever possible, you will receive the exact specimen shown in the photos. Every collector shell includes an identification label with its scientific name.
Each specimen is individually selected and photographed to help you choose with confidence.
