Colorful Moments Captured and Created
"Creativity takes courage."- Henri Matisse. My creative journey was greatly influenced by my mother, an Art Teacher of 30+ years. On May 21, 2010, my mother had a massive stroke, which took away her speech and mobility on her right side. To cope with the pain and loss of my mother’s creative advice, I picked up my paintbrushes, paints, pastels, digital cameras, and ink pens for art therapy. I wanted to share my beautiful images with others and created my business, Maria Rose: A Prime Collection, in August 2010. I offer art, photography, videography, calligraphy (wedding or special event invitations, place cards/escort cards, wall art, etc.), and special events decorating (five years running for the December Tea for the Jane Austen Society of North America- Greater Louisville Region).
