5 out of 5 starsMy beautiful, gorgeous, stunning **insert pretty word here lol** bookends arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! Marina has been attentive from start to finish and happy to answer any questions along the way. While the process was lengthy (I think this took about 3 months total), it was so worth it thanks to Marina’s wonderful and meticulous attention to detail. Thank you, Marina, for your wonderful work and for taking such good care of my bouquet and helping to turn it into something my husband and I can fondly enjoy for life.

5 out of 5 starsThis is the second time I have ordered resin orbs with a flower keepsake. The white rose was from my grandfather’s funeral two years ago and the yellow rose was from my grandmother’s funeral in February of this year. These are beautiful treasures I keep beside the bed as a reminder of my loved ones. The quality is great, and Marina does an excellent job of communicating how to properly care and ship your items for the best outcome possible. Would highly recommend to use and although my circumstances were from a loss and sad time in my life, I would definitely use again. Thank you so much

5 out of 5 starsMarina was super responsive, helpful, and wonderful to communicate with. She took my dried bouquet which I thought was hopelessly too late to preserve in any meaningful way and turned it into absolute art. Pictures don't do it justice. She did an amazing job, I just wish I found her page sooner so I could have preserved the fresh bouquet. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to make a special floral arrangement into a lasting beautiful keepsake.

5 out of 5 starsMarina was phenomenal with customer service. She gave clear instructions for getting the flowers to her and clear expectations for the timeline to complete. We had my MIL’s corsage and my husband’s boutonnière from BIL’s wedding preserved and they are both gorgeous. Will definitely use this shop again!

Frequently asked questions
Can you preserve my flowers for me in a custom piece? What is the process?
Please send me a message to check for schedule availability. To reserve your spot, I will ask you to purchase the items you'd like for me to create. Once your event has concluded, you will need to ship me your bouquet.
After receiving your flowers, I will dry them in a special process with silica, which helps preserve the color and shape of your flowers. This drying process takes about 2-4 weeks. Once your flowers are dry, I will work on a design and send you my best idea. The casting process will take an additional 4-10 weeks, depending on the scale and difficulty of your project. This means that a project can take about 3 months to complete.
In the case of unforeseen circumstances or multiple piece projects, timelines may more lengthy.
How will my flowers look in resin?
All flowers are completely unique and some dry/cast better than others. Bright colors (orange, pinks, blues) tend to stay vibrant and sturdier florals (roses, carnations) maintain their shape better. Reds and purples dry several shades darker while whites dry a more yellow or brown color. Very thin and gentle flowers (tulips, lilies, orchids) are prone to developing more translucent spots. Succulents, anthurium, hypericum berries, and ginger lilies dry completely brown.
Flowers can become bruised from surviving an event and from shipping. These worn out areas show up as bruised or translucent spots when cast in resin. I will do my best to work with what I receive; however, I cannot control how a flower dries or how they react to resin.
How do I ship my bouquet to you? Can I drop off my flowers to you directly if I'm local?
I will provide you with shipping instructions to help you package your bouquet properly. Please keep in mind that the cost of shipping your bouquet is your responsibility and pricing will depend on several factors: size/weight of the box, distance your package travels, and shipping speed. I always recommend using UPS Next Day Air Saver.
The cost of shipping is typically $50-$300. I recommend making a free account on Shippo (www.shippo.com) to receive a discount on shipping, and then estimating the cost of shipping ahead of time so you know what to expect. My current zip code is 32224 and the average box size is 14”x14”x14” and about 6lbs.
If you are local to Jacksonville, FL I can accommodate drop offs.
What is “resin”? How long does it last?
Epoxy resin is a material I use in my art pieces to seal and paint, as well as preserve flowers and cast 3D resin sculptures. To create my pieces, I work with resin in liquid form which then cures (or hardens) into a solid piece. Resin cures rock-hard and is similar to the finish and appearance of glass with the feel of acrylic. It is a strong and durable material that will essentially last “forever”.
Epoxy resin is sensitive to UV rays and will gradually amber/yellow over time. This is a part of the natural aging process of resin. Keeping it away from sunlight and heat will slow down this process. Ambering is to be expected and cannot be prevented or fixed.
How do I take care of my resin art?
Keep out of sunlight, preferably in a shady room or area. Keep away from heat. Resin will amber when exposed to UV rays and excessive heat. Treat your piece like a piece of glass —avoid scratching or dropping it. Avoid using abrasive chemicals, such as acetone. To clean, wipe down with a microfiber towel and use car polish or a colorless, gentle oil (mineral/coconut/silicone oil) to restore the shiny surface.
Can you make me a perfect piece?
I cannot create perfection. Everything I create is handmade and imperfections are to be expected. My goal is to fossilize your florals and transform them into art. I will make the best of what I am given and create a unique and original piece designed just for you.
By choosing me as your artist, you are paying me for the time, skill, and love it takes to create your project.
There are several aspects that are completely outside of my control and am not liable for: (1) how flowers are shipped/packaged, cost of shipping, and how a carrier handles your package; (2) how well flowers survive, how flowers dry and cast in resin; and (3) how quickly your resin piece ambers/yellows.
What is your return policy?
All custom orders are non-refundable. Ready-made items are returnable if the return is requested within 7 business days. The item must be in its original condition and buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact me if you experience damages due to shipping and we can work together to try to resolve this issue.
What happens to my leftover flowers and pins from my wedding bouquet?
I will dispose of leftover flowers one week after your piece has been shipped out to you. I do not keep pins or ribbons unless requested. If you’d like me to save these items for you, please include this request in your message.
Do I need to book you in advance?
Yes, I usually book all my spots up quickly. I recommend booking me at least a month in advance to ensure your spot is locked in. I do take on last minute requests if I am able to. Please message me to see if I have availability.
If you are interested in a memorial piece, I do reserve extra spots every month for these special requests.
What if my flowers die during transit?
I recommend using the quickest shipping possible to prevent this from occurring. If your flowers die during transit, I offer these options:
(1) Preserve and salvage what I can, with the understanding that flowers cannot be revived;
(2) Replace or supplement original flowers with fresh florals from my local florist;
(3) Request cancellation of your order
