These cufflinks are absolutely fantastic- my fiancée is a self-described "huge space nerd" and when I saw these cufflinks, I knew I needed to buy them for him for Valentine's Day. They were shipped almost immediately & arrived before I anticipated. I can't say enough positive things & I can't wait to see my fiancée's face when he opens them! Thank you!

As you shop, please keep in mind that each piece is one of a kind. Many are made from vintage mid-century bakelite and celluloid game pieces. I also build necklaces using vintage 1970s backgammon sets.
The velvet ribbon chains I use are also early to mid-century (1920s - 1940s) and obtained from vintage millinery ribbons dealers.
The reason I go all out to source vintage materials --in addition to the fact that they are stronger and more durable than today's polyester ribbon and mass produced game pieces-- is because our current planetary science missions are built on the shoulders of those atomic age innovations.
This is my humble way of paying tribute to Sputnik the Mariner, Viking, Voyager and Pioneer missions.
This also means the accessories you purchase may have a little more *character* than a mass produced item. Colors and designs may be slightly different than what you see in the photos, though I do my best to represent what I am selling accurately.
Vintage materials, of course, are also reflected in the pricing. As want SpaceBling to be accessible to everyone, there are also necklaces built from modern day game pieces sold at a lower price point.
If you have questions about any questions about how something is made or what the materials are, please ask.
