Really nice necklace. The pendant and chain was the perfect mix of simple and artisan (if that makes any sense.) I got the necklace very quickly. Came with a sunshine polishing towel and a little handmade booklet (blank pages.) My sister-in-law really liked all of it.

I've been creating works of "art" since I was old enough to hold a pencil Art and/or craft is so important in this crazy world we live in and I can't imagine creativity not being part of my life.

Ten years ago I was working at a local art center when they established a jewelry design studio. Fortunately for me they offered evening classes and after my first class I was hooked. How can anyone resist the shine of metal and the sparkle of little semi precious stones...and, my favorite, the jaspers with their wonderful abstract designs.

I retired from the ArtCenter four years ago and since then have gone out to my own little studio every day to see what my creative muse has in store for me.

Recently I found this quote online and it expresses exactly how I feel about making jewelry....

I hope the joy I find in the creative process finds its way into each piece of jewelry I make and from there into the heart of those who wear my jewelry.
