5 out of 5 starsLove these beautiful bags! I didn’t realize it was both the tefillin and the tallit bags - what a great price for both!! We love them. Seller was very helpful when messaging. Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 starsI bought this because I wanted a tallis like my father's. My father had this amazing old tallis, hardcore. He might have gotten it from his grandfather, who was a tzadik, or maybe he just had a gorgeous tallis. When I asked him if he could leave it to me, he looked at me like he didn't know how to tell me that was unthinkable. Was it because I am female? Or because I married a non-Jew and was cast out? He's dead, I go to shul every shabbos, I want a tallis that looks just like his. This one, the stripes are right. The tzitzis are right. The weave is wrong; his was a simple challis and this is more complicated, but it's high quality. It's a lovely tallis, good wool, hangs well. If my father saw me in it, would he be proud or scandalized that his daughter is wearing a man's tallis? My rabbi says women are allowed to wear a tallis.
