Hi, I’m Emma, the face and hands behind **Material Mum Designs**. I’m a proud mum of four amazing girls, a creative at heart, and someone who’s always had a love for making thoughtful, meaningful things.
My journey began in 2021 when my parents bought me a Silhouette machine — a gift that completely changed my path. What started as a small creative hobby quickly became my passion and my business. With each new design, I discovered just how much joy I get from creating personalised gifts that make people smile.
Living with ADHD means my mind is always bursting with ideas (and sometimes running in ten directions at once!), but that creativity is what fuels my work. Every piece I make is created with care, love, and a sprinkle of chaos — because that’s real life!
Since starting Material Mum Designs, my business has grown more than I ever imagined. I’ve had moments of doubt, but I’ve also had incredible encouragement from my family and friends, who have always believed in me even when I didn’t. Their support — and the kind words from my lovely customers — keep me going every day.
I’m so proud to be where I am today, creating *personalised gifts made with love in Devon* and sharing a little piece of creativity from my home to yours.
