4 out of 5 starsIn general the plans were very helpful, and having a Bill of Materials at the beginning with all the wood to buy and proper cut lengths was very helpful. The design also is good in general, but there were areas where I had to improvise changes because either some information conflicted or assembling as directed would have missed the design intent. Biggest issues were 1) The image of the complete arch shows the side walls having the vertical slats being on top of the horizontal ones, which would be impossible if you construct both sides the same way as the top support beam for these sides is mirrored but the slats aren't. 2) Dimensioned slat gaps don't account for slat width variation, which biases the slats to one side if constructed as dimensioned. Locating and dimensioning from center slat instead of a side removes issue.
