Returns and exchanges - details

- Returns or exchanges are not possible for orders who were on sale or with a free shipping.

- Be sure to contact me before returning.

- Buyers bear the shipping costs for returns. The shipping costs will not be reimbursed. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

- As soon as I receive the print(s), I will process the refund.

Additional customs information:

Some countries levy taxes and duties on international shipments above a certain threshold. Before placing the order, please check whether this applies to you. You will understand that it is not possible for us to state the different regulations for each country here.

CORONA - International shipping outside the European Union
Because of the corona crisis and its impact, deliveries are restricted or not possible to many countries. Depending on the situation, shipping is sometimes only possible at much higher costs.

The situation varies from country to country.
In the short term the listed default rates for international shipping outside the European Union are not obligatory and can not be displayed correctly for each country.

Please contact us in advance, so we can provide the necessary information for your country. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping special zones: National as well international shipping to special zones requires a previous inquiry at the shop to get the individual costs for shipping.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a fourteen-day withdrawal.

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact me (Matthias Stäbler, Friedrichstrasse 63,
77654 Offenburg, Germany, info@matthiasedition.de, Telephone: +49 (0) 781-36150) by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter or email) about your decision to cancel this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.

You must send the notice of exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must repay all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs that result from the fact that you may have chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we have offered) immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We can refuse the repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event not later than fourteen days from the date on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send off the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to a not proper handling of the goods by you and was against the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

General Terms and Conditions


1. The following terms and conditions apply to contracts that you conclude with me as a provider (Matthias Stäbler, MatthiasEdition) via the Etsy internet platform. Unless otherwise agreed, the use of any conditions you may have used before is contradicted.



2. Prices and payment modalities
The prices listed, and the shipping costs represent total prices. They include all price components including all applicable taxes.

3. The shipping costs incurred are not included in the purchase price of the items. They are shown separately during the ordering process and are to be borne by you, unless a free delivery is offered or promised. Shipping in special zones nationally and internationally are only possible on prior request from the prospective buyer to correctly determine the special shipping costs.



4.If delivery is made to countries outside the European Union, additional costs may arise, e.g. customs duties, taxes or transfer fees (e.g. transfer or exchange rate fees) and they have to be borne by you. We cannot calculate or assume these costs.

5. The processing of the order and the transmission of all the necessary information for the conclusion of the contract is partially automated by e-mail. You must accordingly ensure that the email address you have entered is correct, that the receipt of the emails is technically ensured and, in particular, that it is not prevented by SPAM filters.



6. Custom-made goods
I do not check the correctness of the transmitted data and do not accept any liability for errors.
It is not possible to return or exchange custom-made items.

7. Choice of law
German law applies. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not remove the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the habitual residence of the consumer (principle of favorability). The provisions of the UN sales law expressly do not apply.



8. A consumer in the sense of the following regulations is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can largely not be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or a legal partnership that, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its independent professional or commercial activity.
