I created Mayabel after the birth of my first daughter.
I wanted to create beautiful and practical pieces for her space — things that would not only look good, but also be safe and thoughtfully designed.

At that time, it was hard to find exactly what I was looking for, so I started sewing myself.

What began as a personal project quickly grew — friends started asking me to create pieces for them, and soon after, Mayabel became a brand.

For over 10 years, I designed and created handmade products for children — from bedding and accessories to larger projects like teepees and nursery decor.

Each design was tested in real life and created with attention to detail, comfort, and functionality.

Today, Mayabel has evolved.

Instead of creating products on request, I now share my designs as sewing patterns and step-by-step tutorials.

This way, you can create these pieces yourself — for your children, your home, or even your own business.

My goal is to make sewing simple, enjoyable, and accessible.
