Meander Works creates beautiful, socially and environmentally responsible jewelry
Soy Marilyn Brogan y soy la propietaria, creadora, diseñadora y curadora de Meander Works. Comencé mi carrera artística entre las montañas Blue Ridge en mi estado natal de Virginia. Comenzando en Virginia Commonwealth University en su aclamado programa de escultura, continué mis estudios como estudiante principal en Penland School of Crafts en Carolina del Norte, donde me enamoré de la metalurgia.
Después de la beca Core, seguí mi pasión, y un niño, a través del país hasta la soleada San Diego, donde vivimos y trabajamos durante casi 10 años. A principios de 2016, el niño (ahora mi esposo) y nuestro pequeño perro Leon, se mudaron a la Costa Olvidada de Florida. Es un lugar tranquilo, hermoso y un cambio bienvenido para este país :)

I’m Marilyn Brogan and I’m the owner, maker, designer and curator of Meander Works. I began my art career amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains in my home state of Virginia. Starting at Virginia Commonwealth University in their highly acclaimed sculpture program, I continued my studies as a Core Student at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina where I fell in love with metalworking.
After the Core fellowship I followed my passion, and a boy, across the country to sunny San Diego where we lived and worked for almost 10 years. In early 2016, the boy (now my husband) and our little dog Leon, moved to the Forgotten Coast of Florida. It's a quiet, beautiful, place and a welcome change for this country mouse :)
I use reclaimed materials from reputable suppliers to be certain they don't harm the earth or the people who work with them.
