Hello fancy art lovers!
I’m Johanna, a textile artist from Austria. Since 2012 I’ve been creating one-of-a-kind textile pieces – always unique, handmade with love, and never repeated twice. My work has two main directions:

My art dolls are not toys, but soulful companions. Each doll is an idiosyncratic being with its own posture, expression, and personality. Their visible stitches, asymmetry, and rawness are part of their essence – sometimes quirky, funny, or grotesque, but never polished or superficial.

They can serve as emotional companions, inner guardians, or mirrors of the self. Each doll carries a name and a small backstory, making them truly one of a kind. Created mostly from upcycled and vintage fabrics, they embody imperfection, transformation, and emotional depth – and resonate with people who value inner work, humor, and soulful connection.

🌙 Altars & Shrines🌞✨

My textile altars are not only spiritual objects, but miniature worlds full of atmosphere and symbolism. They combine mystic, historical, pop-cultural, and spiritual images, creating unique spaces of gratitude, abundance, and protection.

Every altar has its own title, theme, and mood – like a pocket-sized universe to carry with you or place in your home. They are versatile: used as travel companions, talismans, table or wall altars, or as meaningful gifts. Made from upcycled fabrics and found treasures, they carry my unmistakable handmade style: raw, emotional, and magical.
