Meikkonen

Starting from our small hobbies as collectors of crafts and supplies, my mum and I started this Meikkonen in 2010 to sell our all-time favourite colourful buttons and other supplies for quilting (e.g., brass charms). The shop was (back then) located in Thailand, and we had sold over 6,000 orders to wonderful customers worldwide! However, I needed to start a new chapter in life and moved to Finland. We needed to leave this shop behind with determination that one day, we would come back to share our collections again.

In Finland, I have started a new hobby of collecting designed fabrics. Over the past 10 years, I have collected and traded over 100 patterns from different well-known artists from mainstream brands. I recently have expanded my search and focus on local artists who choose to present their art on fabrics instead of canvas 💖

This is the current phase of Meikkonen that I would like to share with you ✨ We focus on designed fabrics done by local artists. All patterns are printed on high-quality of different kinds of fabrics manufactured in Europe.
