Are these patterns beginner friendly?
Absolutely! You only need basic sewing machine skills to get beautiful results. The layout is designed to be completely foolproof. To secure and finish the edges of your patchwork pieces, you can use a standard straight stitch, a classic zigzag, a blanket/applique stitch, or a tight satin stitch. If your machine can do a basic stitch, you can make these designs!
What file formats are included with my purchase?
Every design comes as an instant digital download containing both SVG and PDF formats. The SVG files are perfect if you use a digital cutting machine (like a Cricut or Silhouette) to precut your fabric shapes. The PDF files are scaled to size and ready to print at home if you prefer to trace and cut your fabric pieces by hand.
How do I access my files after purchasing?
Your files will be available for instant download as soon as your payment clears. You will receive an automated email from Etsy with a download link. Alternatively, you can always access your files by logging into Etsy on a desktop browser, clicking on "Your Account" in the top right corner, and selecting "Purchases and Reviews."
📌 Note: The Etsy mobile app does not currently support downloading files directly to your phone, so please use a mobile or desktop web browser to grab your patterns!
Will these files work with my automated embroidery machine?
No, these are not machine embroidery design files (such as .PES, .DST, or .EXP). My patterns are SVG and PDF digital templates designed for creators using a standard, regular sewing machine or a digital cutting machine (like a Cricut) to cut out fabric shapes. You control the machine and choose your own stitches (like a zigzag or straight stitch) to finish the edges yourself!
