Like many creative folks crafting for me began when I was a child. I guess coloring was my first venture into art and I still remember the contentment that came with completing my precious coloring books. Sewing soon followed, but it wasn't until I had my children that I really began to enjoy sewing. When my kids were in school I completed two writing courses. This brought me into a new adventure of writing for children. I was fortunate to have many pieces of writing published. This was a great learning experience and has helped me enormously in developing sewing patterns. I enjoy simplifying instructions and will go over each piece of instruction until I feel it's easily understood. Etsy has provided a great platform for me to combine my love of sewing, designing and writing. It can't get any better than that.
