Q: How do I know if I qualify for free replacements?

ONLY purchases made from meowdefense.com are eligible for free replacements. Sorry!

Q: Who is responsible for additional fees, import fees, customs, etc?

Buyer is responsible for for all additional fees due to international shipping.

Q: My order was confiscated by customs. Can I get a refund?

Meow Defense is NOT responsible for orders confiscated by customs. Buyer is responsible for checking what is legal in their country. I will not refund.

I would recommend seeking info from a licensed professional. Buyer is responsible for checking what is legal in their country.

Q: My item was shipped back to you for "x" reason. Can you ship it again?

Once I receive it, I will definitely ship it again once postage is paid for again (given that the issue wasn't my fault). If you would like to cancel and get a refund instead, I will refund everything except the postage.

Meow Defense is a Latina-owned, small business created in 2014 in Los Angeles, CA.

Originally, I started carrying pepper spray when I was 15 because I was always using public transportation to go to school. There were always older men following me, either on foot or by car. As I grew older, I realized I was giving advice to other women about pepper spray and defense keychains so I decided to open my own online shop! To this day, I still do everything from home and on my own. A small business from beginning to end. <3

My goal is to offer inexpensive self defense weapons that are also very cute! Also here to stress the importance of carrying weapons for all humans. Most importantly to inspire everyone to feel empowered and safe.

Every month I make a contribution to the community, and I also offer free replacements. If anything ever happens to you and your self defense items get lost or broken, you may qualify if you fit these basic requirements.

Build up strength, learn to fight with a great technique if you don't want to purchase weapons but please always remember that if you do buy any products from my site that they are not toys. Either weapons or a home collection for aesthetic pleasure. Please LEARN to use weapons and have easy access to them when you're out and about. Also always check your local and state laws!
