out of my respect for the healing arts and sacred symbols.
With a vision to express beauty and healing at the same time -
I use narratives found in everyday life
and transform these teachings into jewelry.
My extensive gemstone collection is the fruition of careful and contemplative selection from gemstone markets and mineral shows from around the world. I strive to provide an exquisite selection of individually hand- picked stones for customers who have an allure for the beauty of organic forms as well as an appreciation for their energy.
When I began working with stones - I explored alternative stone-setting techniques. Although I appreciate the beauty of metal gem settings, my goal, from the beginning, was to offer something unique. Seeking a design that felt lighter, earthier and organic brought me to the art of macramé. Each piece is designed by hand - with much care and attention to detail. Macramé is a soul healing art - a meditative process and a bridge between ancient art and modern style.
My Inspiration for the art of Macrame:
I am influenced and inspired by the magnificence and splendor of the natural environment. I seek to stimulate my customer's emotions through the passion I feel when I am immersed in nature; whether by the beauty of a single flower in a still life, or by a panoramic wild coastline scene. I am intrigued by the fleeting balance between strength and fragility in nature and I seek to create feelings of tranquility and balance in my macrame.
CRYSTALS are the embodiment of the soil we walk on, the waters that seem to be endless, the sunlight cradles the colors within the transparency of the rocks. The stones emit the frequency of the earths core where they are crystallized from magma . Utilizing crystals and sharing our personal energy with them allows the Universal vibrations of our bodily cells to harmonize us with the Divine spirit of our hearts.
