5 out of 5 starsReally great, easy to follow pattern. I made a practice skirt first then made one with the actual fabric I wanted to use. For the real fabric one I adjusted the waistband a little so it only has elastic in the back half unlike the pattern that has full elastic waistband. This was purely personal preference and not due to the pattern or how it was designed.

4 out of 5 starsThe pattern is easy to sew for a beginner, and it fits well. However I would prefer written instructions to go with the pattern instead of just the video. A few times I was a bit unsure with the video if it's showing the right or wrong sode of the fabric, as it wasn't mentioned and it looked the same. Probably won't be even a question for people with sewing experience. I also find the title 8-in-1 a bit misleading, as some of the suggestions on how you can wear it, are kind of out there...

Thanks for your review and feedback. I used to have written instructions but found that people had more trouble trying to follow the 2D drawings so I thought a video would be the easiest way to show how to put it together. The photo looks lovely as well!

4 out of 5 starsEasy to follow pattern that turned out adorable. After following the sizing chart to my measurements they were quite long to I ended hemming them more. Cannot wait to wear these shorts this summer!!

4 out of 5 starsIt was my first time purchasing a pattern online. I had some trouble understanding some part of the instructions because I'm new at sewing but overall, they are quite clear. I made both small and bigger version ; I have altered the shape a bit for the bigger size and shortened the handles. Also, don't forget to size up the zipper if you are going for the bigger size !!
