Merritt's Story
I love designing wearable items that you can't find anywhere else. I live a customized life where just about everything I give as a gift, put in my home, or choose to wear is handmade by a real person, touched with someone's one-of-a-kind perspective, and made with love. I believe that each thing you have can be special, just like you, and the adoration for that thing can be felt. I craft just about every bit of my jewelry and hair accessories myself, right down to the earwires and jump rings. Handmade, human-crafted, love-filled, unique-like-fingerprints is how I like to see what I do.
Tiaras have been a special interest since I was a child, so crafting my own original designs is a dream come true. I'm inspired by natural, organic shapes and love to incorporate gemstones, pearls, and crystals into my pieces. I'm a fan of architectural components, too, so repetitive lines with sturdy construction full of flourish can be found throughout my work. I love sparkle and color, too!
I love to hear that something I've made is just what a shopper is looking for. Recreating the design with the buyer's own choices for wire, beads, and even twists in creativity brings me even more joy and inspiration. Seeing a new take on my creation come to life in my hands is incredibly rewarding. Knowing the piece will be worn with love and glee is fulfilling beyond belief.
