Frequently asked questions

I am in a hurry to get my order-can you help?

Unfortunately I am unable to make any guarantees for delivery dates as once your item has been posted this is out of my control.
However, if there is a specific date that you need your order for, please do let me know so that I can get it out to you ASAP and ensure that the most appropriate postal service is used for delivery.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Although I do not offer gift wrapping as a service, please do get in touch if the item is a gift being posted directly to the recipient-I am always happy to write and include a message and wrap the item simply inside the packaging

My original artwork/piece of handwriting is poor quality, can you still use it to create my order?

The simple answer is yes. While a high resolution image from a scan of original artwork is always better, I appreciate that this is not always possible.

Children's artwork by it's own nature is rarely created on a clean, neat piece of white paper in a dark pencil or pen and many of the pieces of handwriting I work from are either faded from being several years old or they are a page from a well used recipe book with splatters and splodges all over them.

I will always edit and adjust the image before resizing and printing it to optimise it's appearance and make sure it's the best possible quality for transferring onto the wood.

If a scanned image is not possible then a good quality photo taken in good lighting from directly above is best.
