In 1997, I left my corporate job at Nordstrom to have my first child. I needed to supplement the lost income and found the opportunity I had always dreamt of .... designing jewelry that would speak to women in a personal way. After various jewelry design classes and a vision for being on trend, Jewelry Designs became a creative outlet for me that has become my passion and my joy. I am fortunate and blessed to be living my dream, working as a small business owner and designer of all things beautiful in metal and stone.
Founded in 2012, The Forged Word is best known for hand-stamped personalized pieces. I am blessed to say that is has sold over 4,000 pieces with impeccable reviews to happy clients around the world. I've even had the pleasure to have celebrities such as Lyndon Smith, Izabella Miko and Haley Ramm wear my jewelry. My exciting recent life changes have once again given a new vision to the shop, shifting from Hand-stamped pieces to laser engraving and now drawing on the beauty from our new home on the Emerald Coast. I am looking forward to adding curated pieces to my store from local artists, along with my own designs. There is so much inspiration living here. Crystal quartz sand, and clear emerald waters will take your breath away and the laid-back vibe is all about living a present life. We have moved to Prescott, AZ and our journey continues to lead us from the shoreline to the desert. We are currently exploring new design ideas, with the vision for another shop that Scott is passionate about. We will be bringing that to life in the next few months.... Stay tuned.
