En 2004 hice a mano TODO, desde mis extensiones de cabello hasta mis muebles. En parte porque estaba quebrado, pero también porque realmente me gusta transformar la basura. Algún día tal vez me ponga a mí mismo. Originalmente hice cuadernos de cartón en miniatura de la basura (jajaja) con dibujos de viejos libros de cría de caballos antiguos y antiguos. Los caballos a menudo se representaban en varias formas de contención, las mujeres, también, en atuendos de equitación y la serie se llamaba Métodos de contención. El logotipo del cráneo es obviamente un remanente de eso y para los curiosos, es un ejemplo obsoleto de Eohippus, el antepasado más antiguo de nuestro caballo moderno. Es inexacto hoy en día y me he metido mucho con él a lo largo de los años, así que no @me pero no estoy aquí para enseñar una lección de evolución equina. Al igual que el caballo, evolucioné hacia lo que ves hoy. Aunque todavía tengo todos los dedos de los pies.
En ese momento era difícil encontrar opciones que no fueran de cuero cuando se buscaban restricciones o incluso accesorios de moda punk / gótico, aunque mirando hacia atrás, supongo que Hot Topic existía pero ew. Dependía de mí y de otra chica en el Reino Unido, olvido su nombre, poblar la tierra (con restricciones veganas). En aquel entonces solo usaba materiales reciclados (reutilizados) que hacían las cosas interesantes con seguridad. Echo de menos eso. Puedo hacer cualquier cosa cuando me veo obligado a usar lo que hay allí. Puedo resolver problemas y eso es en lo que soy bueno. Si me das acceso ilimitado a cualquier material que quiera, me resulta muy difícil encontrar ideas. ¿Me sueltas en tu garaje? Te haré algo increíble. Me gustan los plásticos y el caucho y soy un nerd del hardware. Últimamente ha sido cada vez más difícil llegar a los materiales usados y útiles, por lo que la mayor parte de lo que ves es nuevo. La pandemia le hizo cosas raras a mi mercado de basura. Así que perdóname últimamente, siento que ahora soy bastante aburrido. ¡He incluido fotos de los primeros días (¡oh MySpace!) !! Disfruta de esos, jajaja.

In 2004 I handmade EVERYTHING from my hair extensions to my furniture. Partly because I was broke but also because I just really like transforming trash. Someday maybe I'll get around to myself. I originally made miniature cardboard notebooks out of trash (lol) with drawings from old, vintage horse husbandry books. The horses were often depicted in various forms of restraint, the women, also, in riding attire and the series was called Methods of Restraint. The skull logo is obviously a remnant of that and for the curious, it's an outdated example of Eohippus, the earliest ancestor to our modern day horse. It is inaccurate today and I've messed with it a lot over the years so don't @me but I'm not here to teach an equine evolution lesson. Like the horse, I evolved into what you see today. Although I still have all my toes.
At the time it was difficult to find non-leather options when looking for restraints or even punk/ goth fashion accessories although looking back, I suppose Hot Topic existed but ew. It was up to me and one other girl in the UK, I forget her name, to populate the earth (with vegan restraints). Back then I only used recycled (re purposed) materials which made things interesting for sure. I miss that. I can make anything when I'm forced to use what's there. I get to problem solve and that's what I'm good at. If you give me unlimited access to any materials I want, I have a very difficult time coming up with ideas. Turn me loose in your garage? I'll make you something amazing. I like plastics and rubber and I'm a hardware nerd. It's been harder and harder to come by used, useful materials lately so most of what you see is sourced new. The pandemic did weird things to my trash market. So forgive me as of late, I feel like I'm quite boring now.. I've included photos from the early (oh MySpace!) days!! Enjoy those, lol.
