Spring is here! We have so many amazing warm weather pieces to bring you...we can barely contain ourselves! We'll be rolling them out a piece or two each day. Don't worry if it's still cold where you are...we've got plenty of fall and winter clothing left to choose from, so fear not! Whether you're gifting something vintage or need to add some sparkle to your wardrobe, we have that something special you need!

We get new items in on a weekly basis, so come back and check us out next week if you don't find what you're looking for today. Mezcal+Leather, vintage clothing and accessories for women and men.

Due to the current global pandemic and the situation in our city/state, we won't be using live models for many of our photo shoots. We hope to bring you photos of our beautiful clothes on our beautiful models soon, but for now we'll just have to settle for the not-nearly-as-attractive mannequin. We still have lots of back-logged items on live models and we'll be rolling those out, but we have lots of inventory that needed to be modeled as the pandemic hit us. Please forgive the not-as-pleasing aesthetic in our store at the moment, but we don't want to put our models or ourselves in any danger. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!!

We're always looking for that epic piece to make or complete a look.
Inspiration is everywhere. We found this cool mosaic wall while on a photo shoot in Austin, Texas.
At a photo shoot in Corpus Christi, TX. Hurricane Harvey had just hit 3 weeks before. Beautiful & resilient.
It's not all business, all the time here. Photo shoots can get pretty hilarious.

Never be ordinary.

A long time ago (way back in the 80s), two fun-loving college girls (Linda and Andrea) headed out in a 70s model station wagon filled with some of their favorite clothes. The idea was to find some cool spots to do a photo shoot of the two girls wearing a variety of outfits. Just for the fun of it. Armed with a point and shoot Kodak camera and plenty of enthusiasm, they wound up on a run-down Houston street. It ended up being the perfect spot for their photo shoot.

Fast-forward thirty something years. Chanti (a fun-loving girl who was in high school at the time) stumbled upon the aforementioned photos in Andrea's vast photo collection. Inspired by the juxtaposition of the two pretty girls in great clothes modelling in ramshackle buildings and deserted streets, she decided to replicate that idea. It was then that MEZCAL+LEATHER was born.

We find it appropriate that a "vintage" idea has been resurrected to showcase vintage clothing. Clothes are meant to be worn. Anywhere. Even in ramshackle buildings and deserted streets. What you wear is meant to say something about you. You shouldn't be limited to telling your story only when and where you're supposed to. Your light should be allowed to shine whenever and wherever you want it to and your clothes can help it shine even brighter.

So go forth and light up those ramshackle buildings and deserted streets. We would be honored to have a small role in helping you tell your story.

MEZCAL+LEATHER is designed for the rebel, the person who is comfortable in his or her own skin...for those who walk to the beat of their own drum.
