Bringing creativity to our family

There comes a time in your life when you need to make a decision, because you feel that you have been stuck in one place too long. Myself - I have worked boring jobs for too long. I have decided that I need more creativity in my life and this needed to change. So the idea of an Etsy shop was born. Now I have a space for my creations and I can show them to the world. This gives me a lot of new hopes for self-fulfillment and betterment.

This shop is a family shop - all of the knitting and crochet articles are by me, and the cross stitch patterns are by my daughter. She also helps me run the shop, make the photos, write the descriptions. She's also the first one to try out and evaluate anything that I make! So you can rest assured knowing that everything here has been made with love and care in a family circle. I hope you like our creations!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Generally, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We would only accept a return if we have made a mistake. We DO NOT accept returns if we have already mailed the item, and you have realized that it will arrive too late.

The mailed items are trackable through their tracking code, so I would not discuss a refund for an item that is marked as 'delivered', on the grounds that it has not reached you.

There are no refunds for digital downloadable items on Etsy.

Custom or personalized orders are also not refundable.
Your order will be processed when payment is cleared. Keep in mind that sometimes it may take 3-5 days for payment to be cleared.
During COVID-19, shipping delays are to be expected. Shipping to Europe usually takes 14 or more days, shipping to the US can take over a month. Please keep this in mind before placing your order.

After shipping your order, we are not responsible for the item anymore. We cannot control how fast it will take - this depends solely on the postal services of your country. We are also not responsible for any customs taxes or extra delays in the receiving post offices. Missing parcel claims must also be processed through your postal service, however, we can provide a helping hand, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us if something is amiss.

We ship by registered mail (you will receive a tracking number). The tracking number is the only proof you will receive of the shipping. After the item is shipped, I am not responsible for it anymore.

You can also choose express mail shipping (chosen in the cart). In this case, it is shipped by private courier.

The items will be shipped to the address you listed when you were making the order (it is not always the same address as on your PayPal). Please make sure you are submitting the correct name and address. Registered mail requires you to sometimes show you ID or sign for it, so please double-check your details. We message our customers to confirm the name and address. If you have not responded to this message and your package goes to the wrong address, we are not responsible – we ship directly to the address that is listed on the order, unless you have specified that it is not correct within 1-2 days and provided us with a new one.

In case of Digital Items (Instant Download) you will be able to download the files on Etsy after the payment has been confirmed.
What information is collected when you buy at Miccu?

We collect only the information you provide when you are buying, so that we can process and ship your items (your name, Paypal or other payment info, address for shipping and billing, and the details of the product you have ordered, plus any info you provide for a custom order).

Why we need this information and how do we use it?

Your address is used only to ship your order. Your billing info (email included) is used for the bills (required by law for tax purposes). Currently we do NOT have a newsletter, so your email is only ever used to contact you about your order. So your information is used for:
- providing the service (shipping your item, contacting you about your order);
- complying with tax laws;
- complying with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Is your personal information shared with anyone?

- with Etsy: to comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use and to perform the sale.
- service providers (delivery services, Paypal). Your address is shared with delivery/postage companies so we can mail your order and process your order.
- compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

How long is your information retained?

My country requires me to retain billing information for 10 years after the bill has been issued. That is how long the information you presented upon payment is retained. Any other information collected will only be retained for a 5 years.

Your rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

- Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
