MiciBaba

My qualifications have got nothing to do with creative creation but I have always been interested in the different techniques of crafstmen. Finally I settled on sewing, this being my all time favourite. I have produced a whole lot of different sewed things so far. I have been making my favourite things - my dolls, my elves and my animals - for five years now and since then I dare to give my name to them and to show them here on the Internet. The majority of my products are handicrafts acknowledged by the Hungarian Institute for Culture and Art.

The trademark "MiciBaba" (dolls by Mici) is more and more well-known in Hungary. My favourite material is plush, what I love about this material is that such creatures are born from it who are soft and whom you can not resist but hug. Besides I love to use poplin, felt - mostly natural materials. It is very important for me that my products both find their ways onto the shelves of collectors and at the same time withstand the wear and tear if given as a buddy to children. For the sake of the children most of the time the dolls can be dressed and I usually use materials that are washable, even machine-washable - using the delicates program. And for the sake of the collectors I put onto my dolls/elves my unique "MiciBaba" logo that I always place onto their back at hip-height.

My little fellas are never mass-produced, only a couple of them exist and despite of the fact that they look like the same, in reality every one of them is slightly different.
