Our Story
MicroWorks Studio is a Detroit-based handcrafted home, body, and lifestyle brand built with care, creativity, and community at the center.
MicroWorks Studio grew from a hands-on training concept connected to MicroWorks Employment and Training Services, Inc., a Detroit workforce development organization. Over time, it has evolved into a real product studio where entrepreneurship, practical work experience, and creativity come together.
Behind our products is a learning model that gives youth, young adults, and adult trainees the opportunity to build skills in customer service, product development, packaging, branding, sales, e-commerce, social media marketing, and entrepreneurship. Through the studio, trainees learn by doing — helping support a growing product-based business while gaining confidence, workplace experience, and exposure to entrepreneurship.
Our handcrafted products are made in small batches and designed to bring comfort, freshness, and intention into everyday life. Whether it is a body butter, room spray, laundry care item, candle, or gift set, each product is created with attention to quality, presentation, and purpose.
