MidBest Threads handmade kids clothing is a family owned and operated business out of Kansas City, MO. I'm Jackie, my mom is Kelly, and we are the hearts and hands of this small handmade shop!
My sister and I were both pregnant at the same time and our mother quit her job and moved from the country to be closer to us. When my son was six months old, I bought my mom a serger for her birthday and within hours she was making beautiful baby outfits for him. We were inspired to turn her talent into a business but nervous to take the plunge.
After a few months of her making cute baby clothes with our encouragement, we decided to go for it and this little shop was born! I handle orders, customer care, shipping, and marketing while my mom does all of the sewing. We are proud Kansas Citians and naturally feel the Midwest is BEST, so bringing you the best baby clothes with a name that incorporates our home seemed appropriate.
