1 out of 5 starsThe quality of the side tables was good and exactly what we expected. However, the method of shipping did not meet our expectations. We waited several months for the tables to arrive and had to contact the seller multiple times to get shipping updates.

Sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. There are limited shipping options for large furniture items. We offer Greyhound shipping when it helps, in this case quoted half the price of UPS. Unfortunately, Greyhound stopped shipping from our local stations, so we paid a mover to take the box 160 miles to the nearest station. He had to go twice due to no staff there the first time. Due to delays, we refunded you $100. Sorry again for the delay delivering. Hope you enjoy the tables.

5 out of 5 starsBeautifully restored Plycraft Mr. Chair. I can't believe my series of good luck: I had found the ottoman portion of a Mr. Chair on the side of the road. Then I found this beautifully restored chair portion on Etsy within a few hours of my house. After an email exchange, I bought the chair and paid extra to to restore the ottoman to match. Now I have the full set and it is gorgeous. Dan was super helpful throughout, coordinating pickup/drop off meeting spots. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

How do I get FREE SHIPPING?
PLEASE contact me to help decide best shipping option.
We can offer several shipping options for larger items. We are happy to offer FREE LOCAL DELIVERY up to 60 miles from 04101 (Portland, ME). Longer drives are negotiable for a mileage fee.
How do I care for my leather chair?
PLEASE DON'T USE HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS, INCLUDING BABY WIPES.
If we advertise a leather item as re-upholstered, then the leather is new, you just need to keep clean by dusting weekly and cleaning the leather with a damp cloth. Original leather items have been re-conditioned and you should re-condition every 6 months. We recommend a leather conditioner sold by our leather supplier. Eames Lounger vs Others....what's the difference?
The Eames lounger by Herman Miller has limited recline, the seat and ottoman cushions are both big. All cushion pieces attached with hidden clips, no exposed screws. Bases are chrome and raise up off the floor. These chairs demand the highest prices. New $4,000-$5,500.
Plycraft is the most popular copy. Plycraft is also famous for the Mr. Chair (George Mullhauser design), a one-piece molded shell and bent wood bases. The Plycraft chairs have substantial rocking motion, with adjustable spring. They have chrome or black metal bases that are flat to the floor with plastic end caps.
Selig is another maker.
Watch for cracked shells, and many originals are vinyl, not leather.

How are large items shipped? What are the options?
There are several options for shipping large items.
The biggest factor for shipping these items is the destination, where you live. Big metro areas often allow us more options as opposed to smaller towns. Destinations in the eastern US also allow more options due to shorter distance from our place in Maine.
Shipping options with pro's and con's. We use all with good results:
1. UPS Ground - Pro: Fully insured and fast. Con: cost
2. USPS - Pro: fully insured. Con: not as fast
3. Greyhound Freight - Pro: low cost. Con: not insured, SLOW
4. Movers - Pro: Professional, delivery to your living room, Con: cost
5. We deliver too! - for New England customers- ask for details
