I'm worried about purchasing something fragile. How do you package your items?
I double box when I feel an item is at risk of breaking. The item is first wrapped in paper, foam or bubble wrap and then lightly boxed and placed inside a larger box with more paper, styrofoam or other packaging to keep it from moving inside the box.
Shipping seems a bit high, is it correct?
Shipping is an estimate and can be difficult before an item is packed and buyer's address are known. Please contact me with your postal or zip code and I can give you a more accurate estimate to your destination.
Please keep in mind that parcels are always shipped with tracking and insurance for non delivery. I also pack items very well to ensure your purchase arrives safely, and I often must purchase appropriate packing materials to protect against breakage.
Canada Post will not insure for breakage of items and therefore packing is a very important process.
Please also note that Etsy charges a 6.5% fee on shipping transactions.
Do you ship outside of North America?
Yes! Please get in touch with your location and I can provide an estimate for the item and more details. I only ship via air with tracking, and this can be expensive internationally, but please get in touch for a specific quote.
Presently I do not offer shipping to freight forwarders or for hand-carrying and exporting items outside of Canada or the US. I cannot be responsible for items forwarded beyond the shipping address provided on the Etsy transaction.
Is your home smoke or pet free?
My home is smoke and pet free, and I do not offer items that have any smoke odor or signs of pets. However, I can't be certain if items were in a smoke and pet free environment in the past.
