It’s meant to be worn over a padded gambeson so go down a size if you are wearing this over something slimmer like a dress or thinner clothing - I’m ~120lbs 5’4” and bought a S and probably could have purchased XS. The armor is great but my only negative feedback is that the leather strap quality is low - leather thickness and type varies drastically from piece to piece - some are really thick, some are thin, some are rough and some are smooth. Additionally strap holes are not even (e.g. straps on the breastplate have more holes on one side and less on the other) so I have to go even them out to prevent it from wearing and looking lopsided. Shipping was fast and if you are shipping to the US be aware there will be additional coast on arrival (seller specifies this in the listing).
