Vintage, Original Condition & Item Details

All lamps, typewriters, furniture, and vintage items in this shop are sold in their original vintage condition, unless clearly stated otherwise in the individual listing.

Vintage items may show normal signs of age, previous use, patina, small marks, wear, repairs, or imperfections. These are part of the character of vintage pieces and should not be considered defects, unless the item was clearly misrepresented.

Please read the full item description carefully and review all photos before placing an order. Photos form part of the item description. If you need additional photos, measurements, condition details, or videos, please contact me before purchasing.

Electrical Items, Lamps & Local Compatibility

Lamps and other electrical items are sold in their current/original condition, unless otherwise stated in the listing.

If you would like a lamp cord, plug, socket, switch, or other electrical component to be replaced, repaired, or modified, please contact me before placing your order. Any modification must be discussed and agreed in writing before purchase.

For buyers outside the EU: I strongly recommend consulting a qualified local electrician before using any vintage electrical item. Electrical standards, voltage, plugs, sockets, and safety requirements may differ from country to country. The buyer is responsible for checking compatibility with their local electrical system before use.

For safety reasons, vintage electrical items should be inspected by a qualified electrician before regular use, especially when used outside the EU or in a country with different electrical standards.

Upholstery, Repairs & Custom Changes

Furniture, chairs, and upholstered items are sold as shown in the listing, unless otherwise agreed before purchase.

If you would like upholstery, restoration, repair, refinishing, rewiring, or any other custom change, please contact me before ordering. Custom changes may affect the price, processing time, shipping method, and return eligibility.

Shipping & Delivery Times

Orders are packed carefully and shipped to the address provided by the buyer at checkout. Please make sure your delivery address is correct and complete before placing your order.

Delivery times shown by Etsy or the shipping provider are estimates only. I cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, as delays may occur due to the carrier, customs, holidays, strikes, weather, or other circumstances outside my control.

Once the parcel has been handed over to the shipping provider, the shipping process is handled by the carrier. However, if there is a delivery issue, please contact me first, and I will do my best to assist with tracking, communication, or opening an investigation with the carrier where possible.

Express Shipping

If you need your order to arrive faster, please contact me before purchasing. Express shipping may be available for an additional cost depending on the item size, destination, and carrier options.

Express shipping must be agreed and paid for before dispatch.

Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the buyer’s country. These costs are not included in the item price or shipping price unless clearly stated otherwise.

The buyer is responsible for checking and paying any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, or local fees required by their country. Etsy also states that buyers are generally responsible for customs duties and import-related charges imposed by their country.

I cannot predict or estimate these charges, as they depend on the destination country’s rules and customs authorities.

Upon request, I can include or provide an invoice for the order. Please note that I cannot declare a false value or mark an order as a gift if it is a commercial sale.

Returns & Buyer Responsibility

Please contact me first if you have any issue with your order. I will always try to find a fair solution.

For EU/UK buyers, applicable consumer protection laws may provide a right of withdrawal for certain purchases. Etsy states that buyers in the EU/UK generally have the right to return certain products by contacting the seller within 14 days of receiving the item.

Returned items must be sent back in the same condition in which they were received. The buyer is responsible for packaging the item safely for the return shipment. If an item is returned damaged because it was not packed properly, the loss in value may be deducted where legally permitted.

Custom-made, modified, repaired, rewired, reupholstered, or specially altered items may have different return conditions where permitted by law.

Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and provide clear photos of:

the damaged item,
the outer packaging,
the inner packaging,
the shipping label,
any visible damage to the box.

Please keep all packaging materials until the issue is resolved, as the carrier may require them for an insurance claim.

Acceptance of Shop Policies

By placing an order from this shop, the buyer confirms that they have read the item description, reviewed the photos, and accepted the shop policies, including the information about vintage condition, electrical compatibility, shipping estimates, customs duties, and buyer responsibilities.
