Est. 2012
When I began metalworking in 2009, I was immediately drawn to stainless steel. The permanence of the material ensured whatever I created would stand the test of time. Known for its incredible durability, stainless is just as notorious for its difficulty to work with. This unique challenge has fed my obsession for the past 11 years, pushing me to continuously expand the boundaries of what’s artistically possible with this medium.
Might As Weld is family-owned business located in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. All my creations are cut, never cast. This means each piece starts from raw material and is gradually transformed through a series of steps. Cheap stainless steel jewelry is typically cast in molds and mass produced overseas. Low-quality material is used to further decrease cost, degrading the protective traits stainless steel is known for. Might As Weld uses 100% recyclable stainless steel, sourced in the USA.
