Frequently asked questions

The puzzle box does not open even when I follow the correct steps. What should I do?

Because the box is made of natural wood, changes in humidity or dryness can sometimes cause the mechanism to become completely stuck and not move at all. If this happens, gently warm the box with a hair dryer for a short moment. The wood will relax slightly, and the mechanism should start working normally again.

I was able to move the puzzle box at first, but now I can’t proceed to the next step. What should I do?

If you have already opened the box once and removed the panel, and you now find that you cannot move on to the next step while putting it back together, one likely cause is that the removable panel was reinserted in the wrong direction. The left and right edges on the back of the panel are different, so it needs to be aligned correctly. (The correct orientation is shown in the guide sheet included with the product.)
Please remove the panel again and restart the steps from that point.

I’m not sure which puzzle box step count to choose. What do you recommend?

For customers who are new to puzzle boxes, I recommend choosing a box with a smaller number of steps, typically between a few steps and around 12 steps. These are easier to learn and can be enjoyed after repeating the movements a few times.
Boxes with 21 steps or more are generally suited for puzzle enthusiasts, collectors, or those looking for a more challenging experience.

Is there any risk of failure when working with silver clay?

Silver clay can vary in quality depending on the manufacturer, and even when following the same steps, it may occasionally crack or break during the process. However, most issues can be repaired. By adding water to silver clay powder to create a paste, you can reconnect the fired silver pieces and fire them again to fix the problem.

Do you offer any product warranty for silver clay?

Silver clay cannot be covered by a product warranty once the package has been opened and the material has been used. Because silver clay changes during the crafting process, I am unable to offer refunds or replacements regardless of whether the finished piece turns out as expected or not. Thank you for your understanding.

What is silver clay made of?

Silver clay is made from a blend of recycled silver powder, a binder, and water. During firing, the binder and water burn away, leaving behind solid fine silver.

The tracking information has not updated since shipment. Is my package lost?

Rest assured — your package is still in transit. Tracking updates for international shipments can have a delay, and it may take up to about 10 days for the next update after the parcel leaves Japan. Once it arrives in your country, it will go through customs inspection and then be delivered by the local postal service. Thank you for waiting a little longer.

Which shipping carrier will deliver my package?

For the United States: FedEx
For other countries: Your national postal service

How long does delivery usually take?

Delivery times vary by country:

・United States: 3–10 days (usually within one week, handled by FedEx)

・Germany: 7–21 days (handled by Deutsche Post)

・Other countries: 10–21 days (handled by your national postal service)

When shipped through national postal services, delivery speed can vary, and the timing depends on their processing in each country.

Can I upgrade my shipping to express?

Yes, you can.
Express shipping is available for an additional fee via PayPal or Wise, which will be shipped by FedEx and usually arrives in about one week. If you already selected standard shipping at checkout, please send me a message and I will guide you through the payment process.
*For the United States, FedEx express shipping is already used by default, so no upgrade is needed.
